KARATE CHAMPIONSHIP IN LAGOS ROWE PARK IGNITES MORE INTEREST

THE LAGOS STATE KARATE ASSOCIATION IN CONJUNCTION WITH SAMCHI KARATE AND SHOTOKAN KARATE INTERNATIONAL 

 Yesterday(8-07-2017), the kiddies event which was postponed from the 1st of July, 2017 to a magnificent date and marvelous Saturday dated: 8th of July, 2017 will never be forgotten in the heart of this young karate kids.

The event was ranked as a carbon copy of an international event in the history of kiddies karate in Nigeria.
with a lot of karate score board in display and the likes of judges that took part in the event, it was a massive one and a big congratulations to the karate sensei's that took their time to brainstorm and actually delivered a world class event for grassroots karate in Nigeria for the first time.

The karate referee coordinator and referee chairman of  the event ( Sensei Sulaimon of NKA) who expressed his appreciation to all clubs that participated in the lagos state karate event, the invited guest of honour SHIHAN MAVIS E. of NKA,  other associations and dignitaries.
Explained how the event finally got its breakthrough, analyzing the challenges he undergone organizing such a beautiful and world class event and getting clubs who participated, the local organizing team involved, getting the score boards and as well having the glitter package to all participants. He expressed gratitude to them all.

The lagos state karate coach Sensei Sunanka shoyoye, also could not hide the joy in his heart as the events were holding, multitudes from different clubs in Nigeria, Lagos especially embraced the event and more professionalism were all accounted for. He expressed his gratitude to all that ensured the event was achieved.

The samchi karate club Sensei Sam also could not believe what his efforts had turned out to be, as the event was magnificent and the taste was high.

 Also, The parents and participants at the event and senior karate-ka around commended the organizers and encouraging different clubs and at the National level to embrace the development of grassroots karate games, more senior Karate events and also endeavor to match with the WKF standard of events with karate scoreboards and outstanding organization.

The event started with great skills from kiddies of different clubs and organizations performing kata (forms) and proceeded to kumite (sparring)

As the event ended with a lot of excitements and happy expression from the part parents and the participants, all encouraging private investors, associations, clubs and sponsors to come in and promote grassroots sports like this.
