TRAINING WITH THE MSTER'S.......
The legends and pioneers of karate in Nigeria specially organised what was called TRAINING WITH THE MASTER's, according to the senior instructor of the program, it was designed to impact and improve the basic knowledge of senior belts and instructors of different schools of thought.
Karate, has since been promoted and enhanced by these legends since inception and birth of karate in Nigeria by Shihan Dr. jack mbom.
The Nigeria karate has embraced its growth through the effortless and indomitable spirit of these legend.
To keep the enhancement and polishing of these art, the master training will be taking its place every year.
The event was graced by many senior belters and they all benefited from the knowledge shared by the karate masters.
In attendance was, the president of Nigeria karate association Shihan mavie emechete, who taught the participants different tactics and basic movement that most karatekas don't understand the principles behind it.
He started with the simplest kata and uke waza, he taught about the dachi's and some uchi waza.
Shihan Ejim ogar was the second instructor who emphases on the heian katas
On sunday the kumite master will be taking on Self defense and street fighting techniques. shihan panny Daranijo expresses bitterness and disappointment that many karatekas this days has deficiency in self defense, and he said he will be taking the self defense class intensively today.
